I started getting this message on everything I burned in Nero. I tried everything... fresh install of winxp, different versio of nero, swapping out ram. Different drivers for my motherboard... then it dawned on me, I recently updated the bios on my Radeon 8500 from 7004 to 7008. So I flashed back and guess what, problem fixed. Now what difference a video card bios would have on burning a CD is beyond me. Maybe someone wiser can give us a hint.

    Good information, thanks.

Otherwise, since I wouldn't know why, perhaps the version information for each update might give a clue. Maybe something concerning memory usage. If you had a NeroHistory log for the bad burns and a good burn, maybe check the available memory and how much is being used.

I suppose, depending on your computer, the card may have started taking more CPU time and caused a problem, but maybe the update information would say.
