removing letterbox from the movie

    I use, dvddecrypter,shrink and nero for decrypting,shrinking and burning DVD discs.
    Is there any way I could remove the letterbox (the black borders around the mvoie) from the movie with the decryter or dvd shrink?Or is there any other tool that does this (freeware)?

    You can stretch the picture but this looks crap in my opinion...

    There isnt any point in removing letter box, since you would either loose part of the picture, or as Herbsman says, stretching it will look rubbish

    I suggest buying a widescreen tv with with screen size options.

    An expensive soultion but effective... :)
