Hi there, I've been following the excellent guide: 'Copy your DVD to XviD with AC3 surround sound' from the afterdawn website. The only trouble is now that I've got down to the last few steps of the process something has gone awry. It seems that VirtualDubMod v1.5.1.1a does not have any audio options, which is not how it is shown on the guide, which uses it in order to multiplex the AC3 audio with the AVI video. Have I got a new modified version that has changed fundamentally in features or am I just doing something stupid that I'm not aware of??? If the program has changed how do you go about the final steps to complete the process. Please help I'm very lost!!!! Best Wishes, ACJackson
Yes you have a newer version of vdubmod than the one the guide uses. You can multiplex your audio by going into the streams menu and selecting stream list.
Don't forget to right click on the audio stream for more options Took me a while to figure that bit out
Sometimes it takes me a while to figure things out also. BTW when you right click on the audio file, make sure that you select Direct Stream Copy when you are multiplexing.
