   Wondering if anyone could help
   
   how do i know if i need to update my firmware for my dvd driver
   
   also if i do how and where can i do it
   
   by the way not very techinally gifted so simple terms would be appreciated

   Is this a Dell laptop? Looks like it is.
   For this drive you can get the firmware from Dell - the latest is 203E.
