hi all, i have recently aquired a tower with 1.8 ghz celeron i know it kinda sucks, but i am trying to get it going, but it posts funny. it is a emachines(i know it sucks) but i turn it on, get the emachines logo and the screen turns black and i also notice the cpu fan stops spinning. i have tried changing power supplies same thing happens. I even tried changing the ram out with new ones, same thing. You think it could be a the mobo or cpu??? i just don't wanna waste money trying to get this going, thanks to all in advance,.
is an operating system loaded on the hd? if so try going into safe mode to see if still does it or not
