Commodore Amiga 4000 with a Newtek VT4000 video toaster and kitchen sync TBC

is this better then TBC-1000? or the 1000+$ professional TBCs?
The reason I ask is because the Amiga might be a bang for the buck since it provides color controls and the TBC-1000 doesn't... and they cost around the same, and since I heard TBC with these controls are 1000$ I thought it will be a good idea to buy it but I need to confirm it with you. How good are the results?

They work good enough but no S-Video, only BNC to RCA connections. The newer TBCs are better but of course cost more. You can also get a proc-amp separately from the TBC for like $300.
