Problems going from RatDvd Dvd

I am having issues trying to convert some RatDvd files back to dvd.
I open the files in ratdvd, click "convert" - it does the first v_ts file really slowly, and then sometime usually during the second v_ts it just freezes up.
It ridiculously slow - like takes 10mins to get to 1% of the total.

I heard that the latest version of RatDvd was buggy - so I uninstalled and downloaded an older version - (0.6.1122) - and this does exactly the same thing.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?
I don't suppose any other program is capable of interpreting the ratdvd files and converting back to standard dvd format?
