ROM Drive Won't Recognize CD or DVD

    My ROM drive is a JLMS DVD ROM XJ-HD166 that came with my Dell Computer. The CD/DVD i Barry Manilow, The Greatest Songs of the Fifties. The ROM drive won't recognize either side of this disk. Is there anything I can do?

    Run a laser cleaning disk through your drive. Also, clean the disk.
