I have a number of DivX movies (in AVI format) that I want to put on CD and play on my laptop. I have a number of movies in the >700 MB range. I have been trying to use VirtualDub to split these movies, but I can't seem to reduce even a movie split in half to under the 700 MB mark. I having been reducing the quality slider to under 50% and the movies are still estimated to be over 700 MB. Am I missing something? Isn't there an easy way to just split what I input into half?
