I followed the directions on AfterDawn's article on converting a DivX movie to VCD. It involved separating the AC3 audio track and converting it to a MP2 format. Is there a way to keep the audio in AC3 and retain the surround info when you copy it to a VCD? Thanks
Hi! You CAN actually make and MPEG video with AC3 sound but this is not called VCD anymore! So you can keep your AC3 sound with DivX or something else as the "VCD with AC3" sound cannot be played with normal standalone DVD players. Actually if you want to keep AC3 you should copy your DVD to another DVD using a DVD-writer. That's the best way!
