I just got a bin file off my madden 2004 when i then burn it to my cd-r it get the message "Please insert the correct CD-ROM" does anyone know why this is going on?
Madden NFL 2004 is Safedisc 2.9 cd protected m8. First [bold] save the Madden NFL 2004 bin& cue file to your hd [/bold] Did you try the backup in your dvd\cd-rom? If that failed then download Daemon Tools and install and create 1 virtual stealth drive. Mount the image of Madden NFL 2004 (CD 1) and enable Safedisc emulation in the Daemon Tools exe (startup\system tray). Play the backup from the virtual stealth drive. I know this works because I purchased the game and I'm running the game just fine with Daemon Tools. Insert your backup in your [bold] cd burner [/bold] and your backup "should play". Note that Daemon Tools should be running in startup with Safedisc emulation enabled.
