Increase Processor Speed

hi i heard that you can make a 1.8ghz processor to about a 2.8 ghz processor or something like that, if this is true can someone give me a step by step tutorial, or a link because i tried searching it but i came up short, please anything will be helpful

yes, it's called overclocking. we have an official thread on it here. for the most part, it's not worth it. you can typically only get a 10% increase in speed and keep stability. google first, post again after you've thoroughly searched for answers.

but do you know what graphics card is a cheap and good one and by cheapi mean 180 or less

i have also heard that if you put some pennies on your processor it will cool it down, is this true?
