Video Capture

    What settings in Nero Vision should I use if I want to capture video from my HD sony video camera?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thx, Jim

    You have the choice of 2 settings. The first is to record directly to your disc and the second is to capture the video to your hard drive for burning at a later date.
    You will of course need a video capture card fitted to your comp to be able to perform this task.

    I am trying to capture to the hard drive then make a DVD once I edit it.

    (I am new at this stuff, so please be patient).

    I have a card so I can firewire the captured video to my computer which seems to work great.

    I am trying to make sure that I capture the highest-quality video to my hard drive and then burn the highest quality DVD that I can.

    These are videos of my sons sports events and the HD video playback on my HD TV is amazing, but I would like to copy to DVD for archive purposes.

    Any help is appreciated. Thx, Jim P.
