I am a version 2.81 and i dont know if that a good thing or a bad thing.

well theres some good news and some bad news.
bad news first - you cant do any hombrew on this firmware!
good news now- you can downgrade by upgrading to 3.03 and running the dwongrade through 3.03 hen by activating it with an unpacthed GTA:LCS umd and a special savegame.
so upgrading is bad if you dont know the consequences.
