hi all i am thinking about buying a mac mini , however if i did i would want to upgrade the cpu to a core2 duo cpu. the latest minis all have core duos in them so they would be upgradeable. But the previous minis have a core solo in them. What i am asking is would it be possible to upgrade the (cheaper) core solo mini to a core 2 duo rather than the (more expensive) core duo mini.

yes you can upgrade the processor i have seen people using the new core duo 2 processors at 4 ghz on the mini but warning the higher the speed the more heat
