I just bought a Philips SDV2270/17 ($20) indoor rabbit ears/loop antenna. Will take it back. Reception not good on all channels. I'm located in town with plenty HD signals.

I've thougt of trying it myself. There are good amount of HD channels in Philly. On the whole, broadcast TV signals really suck in downtown Philly and HD requires a clean strong signal I'm told. Maybe I'll try it and return it if it doesn't work. It just really goes against the grain to spend a hundred bucks a month just to watch the tube!
