ive been reading as much as i can about the Evga nForce 680i SLI b4 i choose to upgrade to it... planing on buying one today...
ive notice that they have 2 differnt models of the evga...
model # 122-CK-NF68-TR what was just released about 1 month ago and
model # 122-CK-NF68-AR what was released in november...

now the "TR" version is about 220$ and the "AR" version is about 250$
y would a older version cost 30$ more? is it designed for overclocking and the new one is just a basic design?
isnt new one better for future quad prossesors?

any extra info on this would be a great help....

    ty,
and i appologise if this question has been answered already...i did the search and nothing came up...

ive found a small dif. what comes in the box...

in the new TR version box there is:
EVGA nForce 680i SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
    User's Manual
    Drivers CD
    Optional Fan
    SLI Bridge
    (2) Two SATA Cables
    Y-Cable SATA Power Connector
    IDE Cable
    FDD Cable
    I/O Back Panel Shield

and in the old AR version there is in the box:
EVGA nForce 680i SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
    User's Manual
    Drivers CD
    SATA Driver Disk
    6-Pin Firewire Module
    Serial Port Module
    (4) Four USB 2.0 Port Module
    SLI Bridge
    Fan
    (6) Six SATA Cables
    (3) Y-Adapter Power Connectors
    IDE Cable
    FDD Cable
    I/O Back Panel Shield

so is that the only differnce...for the extra 30$ for the old version you get more cables?

man ...if thats the only difference...i'll go with the new version...
    is this the ONLY difference?

it looks that way but if you post some links we could have a closer look at the specs on the mobo.
