capturing subtitle from AVI / VCD

    i have few movie in AVI and VCD format. i like to save the subtitle from the movie. Have any way or program/software can doing this?
    please advice.

    SubRip can OCR avi's. Not tried it myself but I doubt it works well and for a VCD due to the low quality I would think it is even worse.
