Yeah sure its a good computer. Probably my favorite pre-intel Mac laptop. One of my best friends has one. Depends on what you want to do with it but it will probably serve you well for a 2 years or more before you start getting frustrated with stuff it can't do. You can see specs here or by running the System Profiler program in the Applications > Utilities folder. If you have less than 512MB of RAM I would recommend upgrading to 512 or more if you want to play newer games, watch videos, or tend to use more than one program at one time. Especially if you are running Tiger (OS X 10.4). As far as value goes, PowerMax (Used Apple Retailer) is selling yours for just under $1000. They seem to be going on eBay for around $600 - $800.
