burnatonce or aspi problem?

i get "please select a write device" when i try to burn. i think its because aspi not working? i've installed adaptec and force to no avail. i believe adaptec installed correctly. it says aspi properly installed and fully operational. i've tried to solve problem by myself before posting.thanx
