I am trying to encode xvid to dvd mpeg2 format. I am using tmpgenc and v-dub to tackle this. I am doing the movie in 2 parts, the second works fine, the first is the problem. When I hit start on tmpgenc, it starts encoding and can see the video in the preview screen. Life is good, but after about 8 minutes the preview screen turns black, but there is still audio. I let it encode totally, then opened power dvd to check, after about 8 min, screen is black and only audio. Does anyone have any answers, why does the second part work ok. The source I am using is xvid, but audio and video are ok for total part. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
