Well i took a small trip to a friends house 2 or 3 hours drive. Everything is fine, i start up the pc once there for 10 minutes and i shut off and come back to home (otaku).

now the pc doesn't start up anymore.

    check list
    - little green led is on when plugged in to the wall (means motherboard is getting power)
    - changed power cords
    - inside the case, check all cords
    - replugged in all cords inside the case
    - check to see if the power bottom was plugged in to the motherboard
    - made sure the power supply was plugged in to the motherboard

Anything I could have done wrong or forgot

maybe a list of cords i need plugged into the motherboard would be cool

    Spec:
    Asus motherboard
    P4 3.4 ghz single core
    2 gb ddr1 pc 3200
    7800gt
    550 watts power supple
    5 harddrives
    4 sata 1 ide
    (1 year old)

Clear the Cmos and see if that helps

Maybe it's the power supply, that tends to be the first thing I suspect if a PC doesn't cut on.

I tend to agree with fgamer, I have seen PC's with a green power LED lit up on the motherboard but the Power Supply was cactus.

Edit: Check the heatsink CPU fan that may have a bad connection.

good call, it was the power supply.

I was gonna check the power supply and heatsink, but i had no extra power supply at the time of the post.

But i used my roommates and yea, it's the power supply. 50 dollars down the drain.

Thanks everyone. I gotta spend some cash now.
