I am in desparate need of some help. A friend brought me her Dell Latitude Notebook and it would not boot. When you boot up it says system halted must power down. I found a forum here with a similar problem. I did what they said in the forum and noowwwwwwww......When I start the laptop its a blank screen, not blue just blank. What do I do now?

Does the BIOS still come up if you hit F2 on startup, or does it just stay blank all the way ?
