    I am running Linux (backtrack) for the first time and I can't get my internal wireless card to work with it. I have check other threads and thers nothing that can help me. What should I do?

    Your first step in this situation is to always check the homepage of your distro for forums and guides.

    Looking at backtrack, it is an experts live cd for offensive security and penetration testing, not a new users toy. As these kind of tools assume a certain level of competency there isn't going to be much help, basically what I'm saying is if you don't know how to use it you shouldn't be asking in open forums. http://www.remote-exploit.org/backtrack.html

    You will have to load the correct modules for your wireless hardware which probably means mastering a new disk with the required drivers, or writing a script and running it to load the right drivers from a partition on a drive or floppy.
