I am having trouble with CDRWin and ASPI on Windows XP. CdrWin continues to give me the following error message.

“No CDROM recording device was found on the SCSI or IDE bus.”

Using its own CDRWin ASPI Layer, it returns the following error.

    12) Error reading DosDevice information
Error = 122" and after "(40) The data area passed to system call is too

I have tried CDRWin 3.8G and 4.0A beta without success.
I've installed ASPI drivers 4.7; uninstalled it; and installed ASPI driver 4.6, yet the problem remains.

Nero and other CDR burning work on my XP system. Let me know if you could share your insight with me on this issue.

    1. Have you tried CDRWIN3.9?
    2. In CDRWIN's options you can choose not to use the ASPI that comes with CDRWIN but instead use the system ASPI
