windows media player for mac

so i just started using a mac and have been trying to put the windows media player for mac on however when i click on the setup is says error opening movie seems kind of strange cause it ant a movie anyone got any ideas of what im doing wrong.

 

When you download the media player is it for a mac. dmg
and make sure that installs correctly. you can get this at www.apple.com
and type in windows media player

 

you could try filp4mac, i have had no problems with it but some people cant get it to work at all

 

try vlc media player, its worked great for me so far

Another VLC fan here; it will play anything, works great on both my iBook and my PC. Can't recommend it enough.

WMP for Mac is decent but VLC takes the cake.
