What program is most often used to detect copy protections on games? I have Clony XXL v2.0.1.5 and have tried to scan certain games, but it doesn't seem to detect any protection on the game. Is there something specific that has to be done before the protection will be detected for certain games? Is there a better program to detect these protections?

    Thanks for any input given.

    1) Protection ID Scanner
    Go to the following website>downloads

    http://www.portmac.com/

After installing a pc game, you can use YaTeS Protection Scanner for Safedisc or SecuROM to determine the exact version. Another tool you can use for Safedisc is Safedisc Analyser m8. Open the programs and locate the game exe>load, that simple. You can find these tools at Portmacs website> downloads as well.
