Hi, before I formatted my pc, I have no problem playing all the movies encoded by Divx and Xvid. The problem now I have is that even I installed all the necessary codecs, some movies cannot be played properly anymore. Either I see a lot of pixels/boxes on the screen, or the whole screen just turns green. Any help and advice will be very much appreciated.
If encounter the well-known 'green screen' or purple artifacing when watching an AVI movie (especially one that is encoded with XviD), odds are you need to get (a newer) copy of the FFDSHOW filter. You can get it at http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/ffdshow.cfm
yeh uninstall the nimo pack if u are unaware on how to use it properly jus clicking next next next on the installation will properly mess up ur comp drop a private message to UK_MEWZ if anyone requires knowledge on the nimo pack
