Great guide, but I'm really not sure whether to buy the apple tv.
Cuz one thing, is the apple tv realy safe enough to keep your secret?
If you are enjoying some private videos about you, you know, lots of people has private video, and the apple tv is wireless, would it be recieved by some other Applet TV reciever or some really bad people?

Very interesting questions, but really a serious question for us, stop peeper from knowing the information about us. But I think Apple has been aware of this. Other hand, it needs a high-technology to intercept the Apple TV signal.

You can encrypt the wireless network with the strong password in case of other computers' connectivity.

according to the apple tv menu, it supports up to 1080i, but not 1080p, but there seems to be 1080p videos sold in iTunes store.

Apple TV is hacked so quickly, some awesome guy booted the Apple TV with USB.

    Now you can
    1. Get xVid working.
    2. Upgrade the hard drive.
    3. Hook it up to an old TV.
Some body even play WoW on it with an usb keyboard.
it is really easy to hack and upgrade. LOL

I have an Ipod video, and love it for personal use, in the car, and in my workout room with the Ipod HiFi (it really kicks!). Now it looks like i gotta buy this. How cool.

I cannot find any info on how much of a range the wireless connection will be effective. Any ideas?
