i'm trying to rip the entire audio form a dvd but i can only get about 7 mins off a 1hr30mins dvd. I've printed off info from www.riphelp.com and am using smartripper. I am using windows XP if that has anything to do with it and Vobrator seems to close down sometimes with an error. Can anyone help please?:(

Also does anyone know how you edit a large sound clip so you can extract small pieces of sound from it i.e. single lines that could be used in making a desktop theme?

Any help would be much appreciated thanx

Hm, you might have problems with your ASPI if the ripping doesn't work.

Anyway, use SmartRipper to extract the VOB to your HDD and then use AC3Dec in order to extract the AC3 audio track from the VOB files into a standard WAV that you can then edit with audio editors like AudioEdit Deluxe.
