I like Cucusoft and PQ DVD, but they all get the job done when it comes down to it.

go to the guides to look for a proper one. I've used xilisoft and coolsoft, the former is a little bit complicated,if you are a newbie.I recommand the last one if you are a newbie.

I'm perfectly happy with anydvd and clonedvd mobile, and videora ipod converter to convert downloaded movies. Other people in the forum might think different though, this is just what i use.

    musicenmo,

Your post is deceiving - the link I removed was to pay-for software. The "free download" bit doesn't fly here.

    To all,

There have been some very important changes to certain forum rooms. The following link will explain why some links have been removed in this thread,

That just shows the comparison for them, not the actual site where you buy it from. ;-)

The link WAS removed by myself just before I made my last post on 11. April 2007 @ 23:43. Notice the post was also edited 12. April 2007 01:25 - the DAY AFTER I did and the only person that can do that is.........................

    mrxxg,

I do not take kindly to having links that I've removed put back into a post. This is the one time I let it slide. You need to remove that link and leave it that way.

The link was removed because it's a biased comparison made by a site selling all of the reviewed software. There are prices all over the page and that definitely qualifies it for removal.

You have 24 hours mrxxg. I've been uncharacteristically patient about this.

SPAM is a quite good one. It can convert DVD to mpeg-4 supportable on iPod, PSP as well as cell phones.

I've used ClonveDVD Mobile, Handbrake, Cucusoft, Xilisoft, Videora,Super Converter, and Nero (7.8 ultra) The best one to me is CloneDVDMobile. The most advanced is Super Converter (it has a lot of configurability.. )

I think CloneDVD will improve a lot in later versions, but for now, I think I'll stick with AnyDVD + CloneDVD :)
