hi , im loking for a wma to mp3 file converter , i hate wma files and i would rather have the .mp3 ive looked around but all i can find usually costs money ! anyone know plaese help , thanks

Be aware that in WMA -> MP3 transcoding, or in any transcoding between lossy formats, you will lose quality significantly.

For a freeware wma converter, check out dbPowerAMP Music Converter at http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm . You will have to download the WMA codec that is available on their site in order to convert mp3 to wma.
However, as already noted, you probably will not want to convert your mp3s to wma. If you can source the CDs, just rip your songs directly to wma to preserve the high quality output.
