SATA external hard drive

    hi i want to make an external hard drive & the best deal i can find is a SATA drive, i have found this enclousre http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817121019
    can anyone tell me will this just plug into my pc's through a normal USB 2.0 port or will i need to plug into a SATA connection on my pc?
    i have built external drives using IDE before & they just plug straight into the usb port, would like to know if this is the same deal?

    yes it has a usb connection and a sata conec in case ure motherboard has a sata conec on the back
