ram check

    how do u do a ram check or MEM check to see if your ram is working right or up to its potential rate of MB's cuz i got like 2 256mb ram sticks for 512 bbut it reads 448 --well my other pc has a 256mb and 512 and read full 768mb why is this and how can i do the mem check???
