FTP a unmodded Xbox

Is it possible to temporarly FTP the xbox on a virgin xbox running the exploit but not installing the softmod just yet?

I cant remember but i think when you start to install the exploit it gives you an option of enabling FTP.

 

Correct. I thought not. You can, only if the xbox was softmodded before with the exploit still installed while running the exploit.

You can't FTP a virgin box, as it doesn't have the FTP program built into it. I tried

 

Yes, there is a way. If you have the correct version of MechAssault and are willing to cannibalize one of your controller cables, it can be done. So really, the only thing you will have to "Mod" will be the controller cable so you can copy the exploit savegames to your HDD. You can use Emergency Linux to FTP to your Xbox.
