    Hello,
I have had this virus before on my computer then I ended up with formating.

The problem is now my brother has the same virus Temp2.exe on his computer, which starts up as soon as windows starts on his system and he tried to use hijackthis but unfortunaley his computer keeps restarting its self before hijackthis finish the scan even when he tries to do scan with antivirus in normal or in safe mode the system keeps restarting its self after error message with Temp2.exe or Temp1.exe.

I know that the simple answer would be format the whole system but he dosnt want to lose all the programs, games & other personal work files, any solution please????

    Thank you

    Hello Krazymale

Here you are: PRT Perlovga Removal Tool v1.0.2

    download from Sergiwa.com

    download from Softpedia.com

Developer: Issam Sergiwa - iSergiwa Software
    License: Freeware
    Price: FREE
    OS: Windows XP
    Size: 32 KB

    What does this tool do?

This tool removes the so called temp2.exe virus and friends "copy.exe, host.exe"... it removes it from all your hard drive partitions including floppy disks and USB flash disks (those must be write enabled during the scan process)

It also removes the leftovers of this virus by removing the 'autorun.inf' files and cleaning up you system registry, so you wont see the 'autoplay' item anymore.

Moreover, this tool has been downloaded thousands of times and found works not only with this virus but with many other viruses that share the same behavior!

    How to use it?

Start your computer in Safe mode and run this tool. if you have infected floppy/flash disks you can insert them and click start. you can repeat this for every disk you have.

For bugs & problems, please contact me, or leave your comment here.

I designed this tool and published it FOR FREE for every one need to use it, if you found it useful please let me know, Thanks.

Thank you very much iSergiwa that is very helpful.
The Temp1/2.exe and copy.exe are the most spreading viruses nowadays! many people I know have these viruses on their computers.

    hi,
to avoid that temp1.exe and temp2.exe threat,u do an alternate thing.Create 2 tex files temp1 and temp2.rename them as exe.
It will appear as an application with size of 0 bytes.
From the task manager kil the pronignal process of temp1 and temp2.exe.
Go to Windows/System32 folder or the folder where these two virus files resides.Delte those two files and replace with the new files which was created now and make it as readonly.

u r problem is solved now.
