ok so i went thru all the steps and xboxhdm did everything successfully, but when i restart the comp and try to lock the hard drive it says it is frozen and i should try disabling the automatic primary ide detection from bios. I went to bios and check every place and couldnt find a section where i could disable the automatic detection. is there another solution?
try another pc possibly a friends parents.im a newbie and i did it a few days ago but i have more than 1 pc.added a 120gb hdd works fine. thats your last step and youre pretty much done good luck with it!!
it works i used the same pc but i disconected the hardrive before it loaded to xboxhdm so it locked and when i put it in the xbox it has error 6 which means it cant unlock it so i unlocked it and it said it had error 5 with means i have to lock it what is the problem????
