downloaded diamond and pearl cheat codes?

is there a way to use cheat codes for diamond/pearl that were downloaded? like playing the game and somehow activating cheat codes during the game? thanks. does anyone know a website that has diamond and pearl up and running right now that you can get off of emule?

dang dude the game just came out why would you want to cheat allready. play the game awhile before you have to cheat at it....learn it on your own to find the secret stuff

well, i meant it in general, like how would you put cheat codes on for other games also? i dont see how it would work. i want to cheat on the japanese version i have because its pointless playing it anyway.

well i do know where you could obtain the roms in eglish, but i dont think im allowed to do so (i have the english ones).
as for cheats, your guess is as good as mine.
is there any emulator that can play d/p?
ive tried:
iDeaS: works; runs VERY slowly and there is no animation; black lines all over
Dualis: does nothing
Ensata: counts fps but i see nothing
DSemu: does nothing
No$GBA: despite its raved reviews, it doesn't work either
DSmuME: blank screen
maybe its the rom itself
i could just get the rom from another location, no?

well, i just use them on my ds. but i heard that you can activate cheat codes for the downoaded ROMs of any game. but i dont know where and how to do it

on the new M3 simply firmware v1.04 version..
it comes with a CHEAT.DAT file..
if the game is in the list with cheats..
u can press Y on DS and u'll see a list of cheats u can activate for the game..
pokemon pearl and diamond isn't on the list yet..

wow, thanks. haha. that actually really helped. so when the cheats do come out, do i just update my firmware version to get new cheats? do i press Y in the main menu when it starts up, or during the game when its loading? thanks a lot

also, is there a cheat code for game saves? like for Final Fantasy, can you create a cheat code that is a game save so you can load like halfway through the game? what is the point in creating codes? how does it work exactly. thnaks

u press Y before the game loads.. after u highlight the game..
u'll see a box at the bottom that says CHEATS (y) if its available..
the cheats for final fantasy III i believe is for maxed out damage and unlimited life..
probably a fully beaten game too.. and maxed money..

thanks, yeah. i lost my FF3 game. im so mad. it was my favorite. so now im starting over, i just got the new version 1.04. it has a lot of cheats. i cant wait for pokemon cheats so i can trade over to my real actual Pokemon Pearl from ROM pokemon diamond. haha

ok here is how to make yer game work load it up on yer new emulator and go options > eumlation setup and go down to NDS cartrige backup media blah blah and it should work but change the sound output thingy to none to make it goe faster but when u getinto a battle turn it back on for sum reason and off again and u will be fine
