hmm ive never seen that problem before... try making the connection again. then try to go to google becase thats and easy loading page. also note that the browser won't load big pages.

hha thanks alot well i just tried www.roundandbrown.com and it worked and as soon as i tried to enter it , says i cannot go onto it because its not established alright ill try webmsn now

hi
i have done what you have told me to do but the signal is only 12% and it keeps saying that an error has occured so please will you e mail me telling me why it wont let me connect to the internet and tell me how to connect thanks alot

yea but when i play online i have to move really really close lke up to 4 inches away from the antenna why is this?

this might be a really retarded qestion but what the hell i don't know lol well do u have to buy anything like a router or dsl r those like the only way u can get the net on your psp like can u get the net on it 4 free?

the wlan switch is on the left side of the psp it looks like the power button just click it up

Did not read the whole thread but any PSP will go online right out of the box at least my Son's did. But the wireless access must be B-wireless and not G-wireless. Yeah, they don't tell u that in the owners manual.

Sandy,
If you have a Wireless G router there is a setting on that router that allows both wireless G and Wireless B devices to connect to that router. In a erler press confrence at E-3 Sony's PSP will be wireless G around March. So if you want faster internet/wireless play hold off til MArch to get Ur PSP.

bloodlust, i tried what you posted up, but my system says that my IP address had timed out. i have a router..wipeoutgame...ect. but i just tried what you wrote and it didnt work.. can you tell me what i did wrong?

When you time out it could be that your router has WEP encryption and you need to put in the key to access it.
And you HAVE to have a router to get online from your home unless their is a signal coming from close by, like a neighbors house.If you get a signal from too far away it will be weak.And you can also get signals from internet cafes and businesses and bookstores etc.
And routers usually start at about $20.I have a Netgear router that i got from best buy and it is fast and carries a good singnal from outside my house.

Please answer me i have a di-524 and when i go on my internet on my psp it says theres somthing wrong like cannot establish a connection please check the settings and the day before it worked! and i ahve to be literally 2 inches away from the router forit to get 30 percent signal strength! max 50 percent . Please email me or just reply to this thread.

you probly have to get a stronger router....do you have other computers in the house that are connected and are more than 2 inches away?
o and does anyone know if you need wipeout for 2.0?or 2.6?
