Im trying to burn a dvd and im getting a illegal disc error- could not preform start of disc at once. I burned a disn just last night without any problems but this time is the start of a new package these ones are memorex 16x dvd-rs, which by they look of you guys opinons are crap media. heres me log, any help would be greatly appreciated

1- You Nero is so old, it's not even recognising your DVD Burner.
Upgrade to v6.6.0.18

2- Your burner is 3 firmwares behind.
You have v2.16, and the latest is v2.1a which can be found here:

3- Memorex media are real low quality media, I would try better ones, like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell made in Japan.

Some media may not like being burned at 6x, use standard burning speeds like 2x, 4x, 8x

If you are using Memorex (Media ID: CMC Mag) I would burn them at 2x, or 4x MAX.
