This guide currently does not work for TA-082 motherboards but I am making it soon. if you read my guide carefully you would have seen that in the end of the 2nd paragraph you would see that I have wrote; "At the moment this guide is not for TA-082 users, I might put it up later."

when you said "My mod" do you mean the mod you are using or the mod you made? Because I've tried one similar to your description but didn't seem to work. Because it said it was for 3.03 OE-C and I had 3.10 OE-A'.

Sorry, didn't know my motherboard was an issue since it was downgraded. I've played games through USB through "VShex Mod" for devhook. Is there someway to get devhook with the usb mod workign on custom firmware? I wish this was built into the firmware because this would benefit all of us no matter what size cards we all have. Keep up the hard work.

Isn't there someway to actually go into the iso to lower the firmware number? I could have sworn I read something like that in my hours of PSP reading =-)

Umm... IIRC, the new 3.10OE-A' has a built-in usbhost thingie, and you can load your isos/csos as if the games where in your MemStick...
You should look into that, ThisDude, and then update us here ;)

I've progressed abit further, I tried using the orig. 32mb memory stick and it worked just like that. What's up with newer bigger ones not working right? Anyways now I'm stuck seeing what format this thing wants the iso's in. It'll do CSO's right? Do I just have a directory in there? OR a raw ISO or CSO file? OR an EBOOT? I've never done loading of backups like this.

Ok, first of this was a port from Buzzers USB mod on 2.71 SE-C! the files were just hex edited. (systemctrl.prx & vshctrl.prx)
Well currently im on FW version 3.10 OE-A' with this mod, however this also works with FW 3.03 OE-C/OE-B.
On my PSP the FW version is spoofed so do not be suprised if it says "UnKnown".

i suggest u to add the mod which touran gave from maxconsole to ur guide!!this one is more easy to do but very much dangourus though as we have to flash our psp!!!!anyways good luck!!!

Um no the program is not buggy....
And no u dont need the psp tray...
And no it isnt dangeruse to flash the files...
And yeah he should add this to his guide or i will open another thread..

The app I used was the same as this one and it didn't work because I used the 3.03 oe-c version from the ps3news website. (I'm a spaz, aren't I?) Sure I'll put this guide up too, and thanks for this touran22

I clicked on the usbhostfs.exe, Windows popped up the new hardware found message so I pointed it to the psp type B driver folder it installed fine, but then asked for this file libusb0.sys?

Then brows to teh PSP fodler again and get that file...

thanks touran - did that.
but I still don't get the device connected when I click on the usbhostsfs.exe
I have the usbhostsfs.exe in a directory called PSB USB and in there I also have my ISO folder.
I cannot understand why I dunt get the device connected? - I can hear the psp connected noise when I hold the square button.
I'm stumped...

And yet again the mod does not work for me, I want it to work but it just won't. Damn. Can't make the guide. I have followed every step and it still doesn't work oh well I can just used my old guide as I had no problems with it. Touran22 looks like you'll have to make the guide now.

Finally got this to work, I had a TA-o82 mobo and seems the idstorage gets corrupted when you downgrade, I didn't have a new TA-82 mobo at hand to dump the 0.43.bin & thought I was basically screwed to get to play iso etc over usb.
