firstly my box is a super box starview 3 am with v media,and i have done what you are telling me to do when i press menu,the main menu comes on with installation,parents controll,channel edit ,user setup , factory setting,system information,and then when i press 1570 it just changed channel

Ok press Menu again move the cursor down one line to channel settings and then press 1570 and get back here

im sick of saying it but have you tried this go into parental control press ok go down to second pin put in 1668 it should bring you into that menu were key emu is if its OFF flick right to on then just exit back to normal screen this way is easier

Right.. Looks like you will have to Flash it(this isnt difficult)
Did you get a cable with the box? attach that to the PC and to the box, download this

and save it to your desktop, heres what to do

UPLOADING SOFTWARE TUTORIAL
1. Plug Starview in at the mains;
2. Plug in null modem cable and join up box with
PC using COM port on PC (there is only one socket for
this on the Starview you cant go wrong);
3. Open up GTRom loader or whatever sofwtare you have
for loading image on the box.
4. Click on "BIN File" on GTRom and load the
Auto update BIN File file that you have

5. Now click download button and you will see the
file being downloaded.
6. Once complete a mssage will apppears saying
something like "download successful".
7.Ideally you should try and get a bin file channel
list for your area and load this as well it will save a lot of time.
8. Alterantively, plug box in and press Menu on
remote, installation, choose your cable provider,
then move don to automatic scan and press ok.
9. Once all channels have been found press exit back to TV screen.
10. Now press menu, parental control, press ok.
Now press i then 2004. Move down to Key Emu and change option
to on. Press ok , then exit back to TV Screen.
11. Go to sky spots and wait on keys updating.
12 That should be you.

Blutate we have been trying since teatime to get you sorted, between you running around the threads and me playing chase, its been a long night, however as you are aware or should be..we Karl. Malci, etc are volunteers, starview users like yourself, who believe it or not have other things to do on a Friday night,but decided to try and sort you out, we are all sorry we couldnt get the message across to you,however as we were all beginers at one stage we know its difficult at times,to try and understand what you are being advised to do, if you want help the lads are here at sometime or other and will dowhatever it takes, but when e are sitting waiting for people to reply to us its very time consuming and we dont know if your sorted or not at the same time we could be helping 20 or 30 others on other threads and cant help them...can you get the pcture,

Finally there was absolutly no offence from either Karl,Maci, or myself athe end of this evening Only Banter,we need to let steam off somewere so have a kip,and come back tomorrow and we will all start again..............

Quite right, it is getting rather long and there has been a lot of re-posting of the 1st page, that alone would reduce it somewhat, it is getting clogged up.
