hey can anyone help iv lost some channels off my box such ass film 4, film 4 plus one and the adult channel i think there is more aswell not working.

any tips on what i can do to get them back?

there has been a freq change on n#l...just do an auto scan and they should all come back in,...mine did.

me and pc dont work very well together went to maplins got a usb to serial. down loaded gtrom7.05e. connect it to the box when i click download gets message cant open serial port

you're more that half way there already!!go to control panel,go to system.go to hardware,go to device manager then click on ports(com & lpt) and make sure your usb adaptor has been assigned the same port as in your gt rom loader box.if its different then match it up and if its the same then go through all 4 til one works and it will!you really are sooo close!!

change com 9 to com 1 and if its already assigned then change it to the adaptor cos you can always change it back afterwards.

still i have an orignal star view box not a clone
api ver 2.57e boot v7
it does not auto roll can i do anything with it
