Its a 128mb GeCube Radeon 9550XT platinum Edition 400mhz Core. I just want to use it for Sims 2, Underground 1, GTA III-SA. and maybe counter strike which comes with it. Would this card do fine with these games? And is it ok for the price 58au?
At $AUD58.00 plus posting...bargain, even if it is second hand. When I got this rig built, I chose the best card I could afford, and didn't get much change out of $750.00. It also came bundled with Yaeger and CS/CZ, which in my opinion is a little "buggy". However, apart from the card being a tad on the noisey side, it delivers the goods as far as graphic intensive proggys are concerned. Catalyst/overdrive sure does help. The "family" pc has a card similar to the one you have just bought and they play the games you describe with no probs at all. Again, it seems a great buy.
