I recently purchased a pioneer 106d and everytime i open dvd decrypter i have to eject the dvd then press search for scsi/atapi devices then put the dvd in before it will read it.
Then numerous error messages pop-up with each file it tries to rip.

So i tried using DVD shrink to both rip and compress the dvd and it gives errors.
the error it gives is Failed to open file, Reason is there are no more files.

How do i fix them both?

Need more info on how many drives you have in your computer and config, but it sounds like your DVD burnner isn't set to the master drive which would explain the searching and ejecting.

the drive is set to the secondary master, on the primary are the 40gb and the 80gb hard drives.

i stuffed around a little last night and got it working by reseting the region info on the drive. THen DVD Shrink worked perfectly. The disc burnt and can be played on the dvd player connnected to my mates 107cm tv. Thanks for all the guides and stuff guys.
