Coolsat 5000? Lost in translation!

I have puchased the coolsat 5000 about a year and a half ago. My buddy was the one who had set it up all the time for me, but unfortunately he is still in IRAQ. I have in the past tried to troubleshoot and have been unable to accomplish anything. I have tried to manually changed the #'s, but still no picture. The channels are all at full strength. I don't know if i have to do anything else, for it to get working. Any and all hekp would be much appreciated.

Most of you questions should be answered in this thread. I also posted a complete setup guide which I think is on page 27 of the same thread. There are links posted there to different sites that have all needed software and files. Any additional questions you might want to post in that thread since that seems to be where most of the Coolsat questions pop up.
