I am looking for help, I have tried to burn slide shows and svcd's of some photographs along with audio. having gone through the full process of compiling and burning the disc to CD, none of them will play on a PC or DVD player. The disks do not run automatically and if I look at the properties there are 5 folders, CDI, EXT, MPE, GAV, SEGMENT, VCD I have tried to play using various players but with no luck. Any ideas please as I am now getting it in the neck form my wife and family who want to see pics of our new baby!!! (no patience some people)
In the 'Segment' folder, are there .mpg files that play the content? When you compiled the SVCD in Nero, at the simulator stage did it playback ok? I have two standalone players and one of them refuses to play SVCD (both say they will), but on the PC I can tell 'VLC' and 'Media Player Classic' to open the disks and they start at the menu. I would try again , but this time make it a 'VCD' instead.
