    Hi People

    I Am Looking To Buy A New Procsser
    Does Any One No Of Any Good Processers?
    For Windows Xp
    I Have Intel(R) Pentium(R)4 CPU 2.00GHz 2.02GHz

    And I Have 1.0 Of Ram And Im Looking For A prcesser That il load Thgat Wil Load Things Up And For Gaming!

    Get a Core2. AMD is a bad choice right now as the Core2's are way better for your money. Couple that with a new Mobo and RAM. If you want to Game then you will have to invest in a decent Graphics Card to.

    The C2D E6600 is the best bang for the buck right now.

    Are you going to get a new motherboard also?If not you will be limited by your motherboard socket and chipset.

    paiger, why chipset as he is limited to a socket 478 cpu that maxes out at about 3ghz if still can get new?

    That is why i asked if he was getting a new motherbord people were saying to go with Core2Duo.If your keeping the current motherboard and if it support's a 3.4ghz 800 FSB Prescott then there still availabe here.

    the fact he is using a 2ghz cpu i doubt it has 800 fsb as more than likely is 400 or maybe 500 tho unlikely.

    Correct and if its 400fsb then the fastest P4 he will be able to use is 2.8ghz 400fsb not a 3ghz are anything above.
