Get a Core2. AMD is a bad choice right now as the Core2's are way better for your money. Couple that with a new Mobo and RAM. If you want to Game then you will have to invest in a decent Graphics Card to. Dave

the fact he is using a 2ghz cpu i doubt it has 800 fsb as more than likely is 400 or maybe 500 tho unlikely.
Correct and if its 400fsb then the fastest P4 he will be able to use is 2.8ghz 400fsb not a 3ghz are anything above.
