Many movies I have watched on rental DVD, back-up DVD and purchased DVD's have the backround sound (i.e. music, nature sounds etc.) louder than the voices that you want to hear. In other words I can't understand what the actors are saying.
    Anyone else having that problem?
    Anyone have a cure?

I find that pressing the 'audio' button on the remote and switching to another (english) track makes a difference.
Also in the initial setup of the player, turning on 'Dynamic Range Compensation' helps.

    Thanks.
    I'll try changing the DRC.
