I have a Logitech MX518, I am using a laptop, and it seems that my mouse will always stop working. The sensor will turn off so I can not use the mouse and it isn't lit. I will then unplug the usb cable and sometimes I am lucky and it will work again. Other times I will have to wait a bit for some reason for it to be able to work. It is the only usb device that I have this trouble with.
    Any ideas?

is it wireless or wired? if that is the only usb device that is having a problem then there is a problem with the mouse. try the mouse on another computer to see if it happens there.

The last reliable mouse that Logitech made, was the MX 500. I still use 2 of them, on my computers. Unforutnately, the only place I can find them now is e-Bay.

before you jump to any conclusions of if it doesnt work try it on a different usb port bc laptops can be picky and also try it on a different computer!
